History

MedicineLodge was founded in 2000, but has even deeper roots. In 1994 an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Marlowe Goble, ventured to find a more effective way to prove his product concepts aimed at improving patient outcomes. Frustrated by trying to navigate the complexities of working with larger firms, he launched his own product development company. Joined by Wade Fallin, Alan Chervitz and Dan Justin, the principals were able to create significant shareholder value in three years, merging their company with Innovasive Devices. Continuing on with Innovasive Devices, the principals built up this sports medicine company concluding with a sale of the company to Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon division in 2000.

After the sale, the principals came back together to launch a new version of MedicineLodge. Building on their collective strengths and shared passions, the principals established as the new company's mission is to develop medical device technologies that improve patients' quality of life.
